Bethel Mills, aka Staley Mill, was built in 1818 and is no longer in operation but it is cared for by the Staley family. It is the oldest mill in Ohio and it is rich in history of our beautiful state. Located in Bethel Township, Miami County near the intersection of Staley Road and State Route 201 6.9 miles north of Interstate 70.
Celebrating it’s Bicentennial, it is well worth a visit, especially during Indian Creek Distillery open hours.
In 1985, a contractor owned this and operated his commercial-industrial-institutional roof business out of this building. The O. L. Garrison Company. It is located on E. Third Street in Dayton, Ohio.

The C&O Canal has a fascinating history. Adjacent to the Potomac River on the Maryland side. You will see a photo of the river, an aqueduct over 15 Mile Creek and the entrance to a 3118′ foot Paw Paw Tunnel through which the Canal passed through the base of a mountain to shorten the trip by 5 miles.
