Bethel Mills – Elias Staley – 1818

200 YEARS!

Bethel Mills, aka Staley Mill, was built in 1818 and is no longer in operation but it is cared for by the Staley family. It is the oldest mill in Ohio and it is rich in history of our beautiful state.   Located in Bethel Township, Miami County near the intersection of Staley Road and State Route 201 6.9 miles north of Interstate 70.

Celebrating it’s Bicentennial, it is well worth a visit, especially during Indian Creek Distillery open hours.

Rope in a Barn

While scouting a venue for a senior class photography assignment, I checked out this barn. Natural lighting and I shot it for HDR – then did some tweaking.
